PSG qualified for the League Phase by beating Eintracht Frankfurt 6-2 in qualifying, and we last faced them on our pre-season tour of Australia back in 2024.

Having locked horns in successive Champions League qualifying rounds in 2021/22 and 2022/23, we’ll now take on Real Madrid for the first time in four seasons, with a final home tie seeing us take on Austrian champions FK Austria Wien.
A trip to face German champions Bayern Munich is also on the cards, with the Bavarians reaching last season’s semi-finals before losing out to eventual champions Barcelona.
BK Häcken, meanwhile, currently lead the way in the Swedish top flight and won the 2025/26 Europa Cup, while Inter pulled off an impressive qualifying round win over VfL Wolfsburg.
City return to Europe’s elite competition this season after claiming the 2025/26 WSL title, and were placed in Pot 3 in Friday’s draw in Nyon, Switzerland.

“We’re very excited to face these incredible teams on our return to the UEFA Champions League.
“Paris Saint-Germain are, of course a difficult opponent, a very technical team but we know it will be a great game at the Joie Stadium. It’s the same with Real Madrid, they will be very interesting to face at our home as they have made some good signings this summer.
“Bayern Munich, champions of Germany, we know this will be a tough game away. They are a real powerhouse I would say, but I think with our style of play we can go there confident of getting a result if we play to our best.
“The Swedish connection of course makes me excited to go to Gothenburg to play BK Hacken. They play on turf rather than grass which presents a different challenge, but we’ll be ready.
“And then there are Austria Wien at the Joie Stadium and Inter away in Milan, two teams who are going into their first League Phase.
“They’re both very good sides who will have lots of fire to prove themselves, especially Inter who qualified after a penalty shootout.
“We know it’s going to be tough against any opponent in this competition, but we know they will be thinking exactly the same about us. We’re excited and ready for the challenge ahead.”
