The Republic of Ireland full-back joined the Club in January 2024 from Peamount United.
She’d helped her former team win the League of Ireland title the previous year, but her first 18 months at City were frustrated by injury setbacks.
And although O’Hanlon wasn’t able to make a senior appearance for City, she remained an important and valued member of the squad away from the pitch during her time at the Club.
A loan move to Sunderland in the first half of the 2025/26 campaign allowed her to regain important match minutes in WSL 2.
O’Hanlon would feature three times for the Black Cats and also return to the international scene with a further Republic of Ireland cap against Hungary in November 2025.
The full-back then joined Celtic for the second half of last season, featuring 13 times for the Scottish giants after making the switch in January 2026.
During her time in Glasgow, O’Hanlon helped Celtic claim the Scottish Cup, coming on as a substitute in a 1-0 win over rivals Rangers at Hampden Park.
Now, Tara is ready to start a new chapter in her career at Wolves, who were promoted to WSL 2 after a play-off final win over Plymouth Argyle.
