Mary Fowler’s strike early in the second half brought about the incredible milestone.
It means they have the honour of scoring our 1,000th goal in only our 401st professional fixture.
Daphne Corboz, Izzy Christiansen and Georgia Stanway grabbed our 100th, 200th and 300th strikes respectively, with Lauren Hemp notching our 400th and 500th goals.
The winger also found the net for our 700th in a 6-0 League Cup triumph over Bristol City, before Fowler’s early strike in an FA Cup tie with Tottenham Hotspur took us to the 800 mark.
Laia Aleixandri grabbed our 900th at Old Trafford in a 2-2 draw with Manchester United in May 2025.
Just over 12 months and 34 matches later, we’ve hit another century, with Fowler the history-maker on this occasion.
In total, 65 different City players have contributed to that tally, with Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw grabbing the most with 118.
Lauren Hemp is next with 74, with further key contributions from Georgia Stanway (67) and Nikita Parris (62).

Caroline Weir (38), Chloe Kelly, Toni Duggan and Ellen White (all 34) also join Izzy Christiansen (32) as players to have noticed over 30 goals in Blue.
City’s march to those 1,000 goals has also been complemented by an impressive defensive record, with just 322 conceded at the other end.
