Manchester City can confirm that Jill Roord has suffered a rupture to her anterior cruciate ligament.
The Netherlands international suffered the injury during Manchester City’s Continental Cup win over Manchester United on Wednesday, 24 January.
Jill will remain under the care of City’s medical team and will begin her rehabilitation.
