Iman Beney scored the first goal of the game for Switzerland as they beat Israel 2-0 in their latest UEFA Women's World Cup Qualifiers outing on Tuesday.

Our Swiss starlet saw her side on their way to victory as she netted on the half hour mark.

Julia Stierli scored Switzerland’s second goal of the evening to seal the proceedings and see them proceed to the next round of the playoffs which sees Rafael Navarro’s side face Austria.

In Leicester, Alex Greenwood, Niamh Charles, Beth Mead and Lauren Hemp helped England on their way to a comfortable 5-0 victory as their UEFA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers campaign continues.

Alessia Russo opened the scoring on three minutes while Lauren James added to the tally before the 20 minute mark.

Hemp saw plenty of the ball on the left-hand side which helped her to two first-half assists for Georgia Stanway and James once again.

The Lionesses added a fifth goal late on through Russo as they progress from the play-offs to meet Ukraine in round two.

Anna Moorhouse, Laura Blindkilde Brown and Grace Clinton were also named on the bench for Sarina Wiegman’s side.

Elsewhere, Mayzee Davies scored her first goal for Wales as she headed them into a first-half lead before Rhian Wilkinson’s team pulled clear of Albania thanks to efforts from Elise Hughes and Hannah Cain.

Wales will now face Norway in a two-legged play-off final in early December as they attempt to make history by securing a place at next summer’s World Cup in Brazil.

City youngster Freya Hirons scored for England U19s in a 6-0 win over Bosnia & Herzegovina after coming on as a 62nd minute substitution.

Yui Hasegawa, Ayaka Yamashita and Aoba Fujino gained 90 minutes for Japan as they faced Carlotta Wamser’s Germany, with the full-back coming on at the 63rd minute mark.

Eartha Cumings was also named on the bench for Scotland, while Kerstin Casparij came on at half-time for the Netherlands as they beat Hungary 3-0.
