Gareth Taylor has been nominated for Manager of the Month, while Georgia Stanway is up for Player of the Month and duo Lauren Hemp and Laura Coombs have been shortlisted for the Goal of the Month.
Taylor’s side enjoyed a stellar January, clinching five wins from six in all competitions to climb the league table and progress in both the Continental Cup and Women’s FA Cup, scoring an astonishing 26 goals and conceding just two.
Stanway enjoyed an unforgettable month, becoming City’s record women’s goalscorer by overtaking Nikita Parris in the scoring charts.
The 23-year-old has scored nine goals in her last eight games, including a hat-trick in our Women’s FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest and three goals in her last three league games.
Also deputising in defence where needed, Stanway - who scooped the league’s December Goal of the Month award - has earned more deserved recognition for her efforts.
Hemp and Coombs both earned inclusions in this month’s goal shortlist for their two delightful chips against Brighton and Hove Albion.
