We’ll be at Maiden Castle for a 12:30 (UK) start on Sunday 14 January, with UK viewers able to watch live on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport online.
It’s our first match in this year’s competition and our maiden assignment of the new year after the winter break.
Ahead of the return of competitive football, the boss confirmed it’s just Kennedy that he’ll have to go without.
However, the boss did state he doesn’t expect to be without the Australian defender for long.
“Just Alanna with the situation when she came back into the Villa game with a quick turnaround from coming back from Australia,” he said.
“She’s in a good place and close to returning but she is the only one we are unlikely to see.”
Durham are currently mid-table in the second tier of the Barclays Women’s Super League.
Taylor expects them to utilise their home advantage to make it as tough as possible for his side.
“For sure, they’re a difficult team to play against on their own surface which is a 4G,” he said.
“That makes it difficult to break away on counter attacks. We need to be smart and how we control those situations.
“When I first came into the job you were aware of teams more so on the professional side. Durham were a team who were always well regarded.
“They always seem to have the ability to develop young players. Lots of players have moved on from there.”
Experienced City and England defenders Steph Houghton and Demi Stokes both come from the north east of the country.
With no teams from the region in the top tier, Taylor revealed the pair are excited for a rare game close to home.
“It’s obviously nice for Steph and Demi back to their original roots,” he stated.
“Steph has been trying to get as many tickets as she can for her family.
“We usually move left, right or south on the map so it’s nice for us to go north and of course it’s a game which is on TV as well.
“It’s what the FA Cup is all about. It’s a fantastic competition and it catches the imagination.”
