Congratulations to Bunny Shaw, who is set to make her 150 Manchester City appearance this afternoon.

The Jamaican is just the ninth player in our history to reach the milestone and behind only Lauren Hemp and Alex Greenwood among the current squad.

That tally includes 101 (before playing West Ham) in the WSL, 19 in the FA Cup, 17 in the League Cup and 12 in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Already our record goalscorer - Shaw has found the net a remarkable 129 times in those first 149 appearances.

Her latest accolade comes just a day after being named the Etihad Player of the Month for October, in what has been an incredible start to 2026/27 for the Jamaica international.

In 11 appearances across all competitions Shaw has already found the back of the net 11 times to help us remain unbeaten this term across the WSL and UEFA Champions League.

In her 149 games for the Club, Shaw has defined what it means to break records and set the pace.

Since her move to England in 2021, Shaw has won three successive WSL Golden Boot awards and became the Club’s all-time leading scorer in March 2024.

And after helping City secure a historic double as we lifted the WSL title and FA Cup trophy to complete an incredible 2025/26, Shaw was placed third in the 2026 Ballon d’Or awards.

We also can’t forget Shaw’s iconic new contract announcement at City’s parade celebrations in the summer as the Jamaica international committed her future to the Club until 2030.

Everyone at Manchester City would like to congratulate Bunny again on her latest milestone.
