The Japan international has signed fresh terms with the Club that will keep her at the Joie Stadium until the summer of 2030.
Still just 22, Fujino has become a key figure for City over her two full seasons in the WSL, playing a crucial role in our double-winning campaign last year.
But the exciting winger feels that success is only the beginning in terms of what she and the Blues can achieve.

Asked why she wanted to extend her stay at City, Fujino said: “I feel like there’s still so much I can develop here at this club, and that’s a big part of it.
“Two years in, I know I’m capable of more than I’ve shown. I knew this was a place I could keep developing, and that’s the main reason I decided to renew.
“I definitely feel like there’s still more in me, and I can sense that potential myself. In terms of goals and assists, I want to make a bigger impact for the team.

“That’s an area I know I can still grow a lot in.”
Fujino’s switch to City came when she was just 20 years old and represented her first outside her native Japan.
The winger adapted swiftly on the pitch, but admits that transition to a new lifestyle, language and culture was made possible thanks to the support of her team-mates and coaching staff.

Aoba insists that backing has brought the best out of her, and has made her even more motivated to play a starring role in our future success.
“Why I want to be here is the people around me, that’s the biggest thing, without a doubt. I’ve always felt so supported,” she added.
“Right from the start, when I first arrived at City, everyone welcomed me so warmly, the fans cheered me on, all of that just... made City, Manchester, feel like home.
“Coming back to a place where I can truly relax, that’s a big reason.
“Right now, it’s all about this team. I want to score more, create more and contribute more in attack, and really make a difference for this team.
“That’s my number one goal right now.”
