Rodrigo has described the mentality that exists in the City squad as ‘unbelievable’ as the Club celebrate another historic campaign.

Pep Guardiola’s men have become the first men’s side in English football history to clinch four successive top flight titles following our latest triumph in 2023/24.

City also claimed the FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup across a remarkable campaign, with Rodrigo at the centre of it all.

While the Spaniard and his team-mates have continued to rewrite history, he insists that City deserve tremendous credit for what we’ve achieved.

He said: “It’s special in the sense of what they’ve said, to keep winning is the toughest thing.

“Winning four in a row and the treble, keeping this mentality to the end against Arsenal and Liverpool, it’s unbelievable.

“We know how tough it is to win the Premier League, Club World Cup and Super Cup for the first time. It gives us the credit in Europe.”

The midfielder also paid tribute to City’s incredible support across both the 2023/24 campaign and during his time at the Club so far.

Moving to the Etihad Stadium in 2019, Rodrigo has won four Premier League titles and 11 major honours so far during his five seasons at City.

And the Spaniard was quick to praise the fans, who he says have made him feel at home from the get-go.

“To be honest, from the first day I joined I’ve felt their love,” he added.

“I just want to thank them.

“The party will keep going, we have to celebrate.”
