Former City man Nedum Onuoha believes Pep Guardiola's side are currently in the best form he has ever witnessed.

The Blues were 5-0 victors over latest opponents FC Copenhagen on Wednesday night, extending our unbeaten start to the season across the Premier League and Champions League.

We have now played 11 games across the two competitions, winning nine and drawing two. In that time, we have scored 40 goals.

For Onuoha, who was a pundit on Wednesday’s Matchday Live show, it’s a treat every time he gets the opportunity to watch City play.

On the show, he said: “It just feels great to be watching that and supporting it. That’s some of the best football I’ve seen in my lifetime.

“They’re making the UEFA Champions League look easy and it’s not, it’s not that type of competition. They’re working both sides of the game as they’re not giving them chances.”

Onuoha was joined on the show by Paul Dickov and Shaun Wright-Phillips, who echoed the opinions of our former defender.

Dickov, a former striker himself, has been rendered speechless by the form of Erling Haaland.

Haaland added another two goals to his tally for the Club last night, taking him to 19 goals in 12 competitive matches.

“It’s just getting ridiculous now,” said Dickov at half-time.

“He’s just a freak in the best possible way.

“He’s always anticipating all the time. He’s an elite centre-forward already at 22. I don’t know what else to say! We just laughed to ourselves. That’s all we can do.”

Matchday Live

Matchday Live is our FREE City-centric show, available for every single men’s first team match whether home or away.

We’ll have a presenter and a panel of former City players or Club experts to talk us through the day, give their reaction to the team news, preview the opposition and have some fun along the way.

There will also be live radio commentary of the match with Alistair Mann before we return to the studio at half-time and full-time.

If you can’t be at the Etihad Stadium, there is no better way to follow City!
