Pep Guardiola preview

The City boss will provide the latest team news and look ahead to Wednesday’s clash when he faces the media at the City Football Academy on Tuesday 30 August.

Nathan Tyson and Robert Earnshaw opened the scoring for the visitors just before the hour mark, before Joe Garner rounded off the scoring with 15 minutes to play.

LAST TIME OUT

Manchester City produced another memorable comeback, overturning a two-goal deficit to beat Crystal Palace 4-2 at the Etihad Stadium. 

A John Stones own-goal, followed by a Joachim Andersen header put the visitors ahead at the half-time break.

Bernardo Silva’s deflected strike brought us back into the game before Erling Haaland’s first Man City hattrick secured us the three points and yet another memorable comeback for Pep Guardiola’s side.
