The best images from our latest session as City set our sights on our Champions League curtain-raiser.

Our defence of Europe’s elite competition begins at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday 19 September when we host Red Star Belgrade.

The Serbian champions have won their domestic league in each of the past six season, and have reached the Champions League group stages for the first time since 2020.

Tuesday’s clash represents the first meeting between the two sides, but Guardiola‘s men won’t be taking our opponents lightly as we aim to begin the latest European campaign with a victory.

City go into the tie in sparkling form, having earned a hard-fought 3-1 win away to West Ham United on Saturday.

Jeremy Doku‘s first goal for the Club, as well as further strikes from Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland saw us earn a comeback victory in London and preserve our 100% start to the Premier League season.

It’s straight back to the grind though, with another difficult assignment on the cards under the Etihad lights.

As expected, the squad were hard at work at the City Football Academy, ironing out the final details before our Champions League campaign begins.

Our photographers were on hand to capture the key moments from the session, which you can scroll through below...
