The stats suggest we will come out all guns blazing against Brighton, with us having gone on to claim all three points following a loss on 25 of a possible 30 occasions under Pep Guardiola‘s watchful eye.

But while the visitors are aiming to end a four-match winless run this weekend, a victory would move them to within two points of the Champions League places.

It leaves FPL managers with plenty to ponder ahead of Saturday’s 11:00 (UK) transfer deadline.

Thankfully, the Scout is on hand to ease those selection dilemmas in our latest report...

Phil Foden (£8.4m) has emerged as the top target for managers in Gameweek 13 of Fantasy Premier League.

The midfielder has earned over 400,000 transfers in for Manchester City’s clash with Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon.

His home form suggests Foden will immediately reward that show of faith this weekend.

The England star has averaged 9.4 points per match over his five outings at the Etihad Stadium this term.

He has been involved in nine home goals already this season, scoring five and assisting a further four.

By contrast, Foden was involved in only five home goals in 15 appearances in 2021/22, scoring three goals and assisting two.

Leandro Trossard (£6.9m) is the visitors’ dangerman, the Belgian scoring a hat-trick away to Liverpool and earning 20 points in Gameweek 9.

Elsewhere, Darwin Nunez (£8.8m) and Gianluca Scamacca (£6.8m) can prove very handy differentials for Gameweek 13, with both owned by under 7% of squads.

Liverpool’s Darwin visits Nottingham Forest on the back of two goals in his last two starts.

Scamacca, meanwhile, has scored in each of West Ham United’s last two home matches, totalling 17 points, ahead of a visit from AFC Bournemouth.
