Gundogan made 358 appearances for the Blues across two spells and won 14 major honours in Manchester while serving us with distinction and class.

The German great also provided a swathe of unforgettable and iconic moments. 

From his two goals in our epic, Premier League-clinching 3-2 win over Aston Villa, to being the first captain in our rich history to lift the Champions League trophy – Gundo was popular on the pitch with teammates and off the field with supporters. 

But perhaps his greatest season for the Blues came in the 2022/23 term when he led us to the Treble and scored twice in our 2-1 FA Cup final victory over Manchester United at Wembley, including the fastest ever final goal in the competition’s history.
