There will be a first-time winner of the Etihad Player of the Month for November.

All three players nominated are making their Etihad voting debut, with this month’s prize based on just four games.

And with two of those games featuring much-changed sides, a couple of good performances has been enough to be shortlisted on this occasion.

Julian Alvarez, Stefan Ortega Moreno, and Rico Lewis are all up the November award with the polls now open until 10am Friday 25 November.

Alvarez is perhaps the outstanding candidate.

The Argentine scored three goals and made two assists during his four games this month.

He found the next against Sevilla, Chelsea, and Fulham, and also set up goals for Rico Lewis and Riyad Mahrez in the Sevilla clash.

The 17 year-old Lewis also makes the cut.

His goal and excellent display against Sevilla– on his full debut - was backed up with an even better performance against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup.

The teenage right-back has showed why Pep Guardiola rates him so highly and he will no doubt be a popular candidate in this vote.

The last – but not least – of the Etihad trio is Stefan Ortega Moreno.

The German has impressed whenever he has played this season and gave a good, solid performance on his home debut against Sevilla.

But it was his quite outstanding display against Chelsea that made him in an instant crowd favourite.

Ortega Moreno was superb against Graham Potter’s side, repelling everything they could throw at him in a game where the visitors recorded 15 shots.

Those are the three players up for the vote – who will you choose?
