Choosing just three players from a record-breaking months was nigh on impossible.

But, as only three can go up for the vote, a shortlist has been selected.

There have been so many contenders, with Ruben Dias, Bernardo Silva, Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden... the list goes on.

The three up for your vote, however, are also very worthy of the award.

Last month’s winner John Stones continued where he left off in December with another superb month in January.

And not only was there the outstanding performances and clean sheets, he scored three goals, too.

Joao Cancelo is nominee No.2 - the Portuguese (defender/midfielder/winger) has been nothing short of excellent.

So often at the heart of our attacks as the season has progressed, he’s become a crucial part of the formation flexibility that is so hard for opposing teams to figure out.

He also capped a great January with a lovely goal at West Brom and was the key to our fightback away to Cheltenham Town with a match-winning cameo.

Last - but certainly not least - few would argue that Ilkay Gundogan has been sensational in January.

The German is having a tremendous season, but was the driving force behind our record-breaking run last month.

And with five goals and several assists, he is probably the man to beat in this vote - but your vote is all that matters, so who will you go for?

The poll closes on Monday 8 February at midday - so cast your vote now!
