The Norwegian’s 81st minute finish against the Black Cats at the Etihad Stadium was the final piece in the puzzle of the Premier League teams he’s come up against in just over four years in England.
He’s most enjoyed playing West Ham in the top-flight, with 11 strikes in just eight games with the Hammers.
10 goals have come against both Crystal Palace and Wolves, while he’s now the leading scorer in Manchester derbies in the Premier League with nine goals.
Fulham, Everton and Brighton have all felt the force of Haaland’s irrepressible hunger for goals too, while he’s stood up in plenty of big games against regular title rivals Arsenal with six goals against them.

He’s even managed to find the net against three teams – Sheffield United, Luton Town and Coventry – despite playing them just once in the competition.
It took him until his third meeting with Sunderland before finding the net however.
His latest strike takes him to five in the Premier League so far this season, putting him in the early lead for this year’s Golden Boot.
He’s already won that award in three of his first four campaigns at City, including a record-breaking haul of 36 in 2022/23.
In total, he has 117 goals in 137 Premier League appearances. Only 22 men have ever found the net more in the competition since its 1992 rebrand.
And he now has seven goals in seven games across all competitions at the start of 2026/27.
Just last week he became the third highest scorer in our 132-year history, surpassing Tommy Johnson on 166.
With 169 goals in 205 games, he’s now hot on the heels of second placed Eric Brook.
He found the net 177 times between 1928 and 1939, but still some way off Sergio Aguero’s record of 260.
