For the boss, it’s his third spell with the Blues.
He’s previously been in charge of our Elite Development Squad in 2020/21 and an assistant coach to Pep Guardiola during the historic 2022/23 Treble-winning campaign.
Since then, he’s forged his own path in management, lifting trophies with Leicester City and Chelsea.
Now, he succeeds Guardiola ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Maresca flew into M11 to take charge as he reacquainted himself with the City Football Academy as his new chapter begins.
