Ederson says he's proud to have won more Premier League titles than any other in the division's history.

The Brazilian earned his sixth title with City during the 2023/24 season, taking him beyond Peter Schmeichel on five.

Since arriving at City in 2017, Ederson has been a pivotal part of every success under Pep Guardiola, including six titles in seven seasons.

He has now played 250 times in the competition, keeping 112 clean sheets and winning three Golden Gloves.

Speaking at the celebratory parade in central Manchester on Sunday, Ederson reflected on his own historic achievement.

“It’s amazing. I remember when I came to the Club,” he said.

“The new challenge and the new league, every season, I’ve given my everything, I’ve trained a lot and give everything for my club.”

The goalkeeper has been at the heart of City’s development into the Premier League’s dominant force under Pep Guardiola.

He says that comes down to one simple factor.

“The mentality to stay strong,” he stated.

“The body is tired but the mind is so strong, this is the difference for this Club.”
