Kick-off is set for 12:00 (UK), with the match to be broadcast live globally* on mancity.com and the Official Man City App for fans with a CITY+ subscription.

All the key moments can also be followed on the Official Man City social media channels: @ManCity.

MARESCA PRESS CONFERENCE

Maresca addressed the media on Saturday ahead of Sunday’s friendly against Atletico. And the boss was asked about him stepping into the role and the opportunity it gives players to impress.

“The only thing I have said since I start to the players is that for me it’s a new reset. All of them start at same level,” he said in Seoul.

“Pre-season will dictate a little bit the transfer window. This has been the same message for everyone - for me it is a reset.”

And on our opponent, Maresca added: “We are excited to play them in general and the new players. I am sure it will be very good.”

MAN CITY APP COVERAGE

As always, the Official Man City App will have all the match coverage you need from wherever you are in the world.

For those with push notifications turned on in the app, you’ll be alerted to the key moments throughout the game as they happen, whilst our CITY+ stream with co-commentary from Alistair Mann and Clive Allen will continue.

Shortly after the full-time whistle, a comprehensive match report as well as reaction from Maresca and the players can also be viewed on our website and app.

A CITY+ full-match replay will be live shortly after the game, with extended highlights to follow shortly after.

MATCHDAY LIVE

As always, we will have an action-packed Matchday Live show to provide you with City-centric analysis before, during and after the game.

Scott Carson and Shaun Wright-Phillips will be pitchside at Seoul Stadium, ready and waiting to report back to host Natalie Pike and guests Nedum Onuoha and Izzy Christiansen back in Manchester.

OPPOSING MANAGER

Atletico Madrid will be led by two coaches. Chung Jung-yong who is the new coach of current league champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, will be alongside Chung Kyung-ho.

The former is best known for taking the South Korean U20 team to the World Cup final. And the latter is the Head Coach of Gangwon FC and deemed one of the most exciting coaches in the K-League.

Both will be eager to see their team play quick, attacking football and as a result our clash could be a high-scoring one.

PREVIOUS MEETING

This will be the first time City have faced the K-League All Stars.

The latter have taken on some impressive teams over the years, including Barcelona, Tottenham, Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Newcastle United.

And, despite a change in roster, the Korean team will be looking to earn back-to-back wins for the first time. The last outing, in July 2025, saw them beat Newcastle 1-0.
