Julian Alvarez‘s clinical finish proved the difference at the Etihad Stadium as City ran out 1-0 winners.

We also got the better of Chelsea by the same scoreline in January 2023’s reverse fixture, Riyad Mahrez tapping home the only goal of the game just after the hour.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side currently sit 12th in the Premier League, picking up four points from their opening four fixtures before the international break.

As always, you can follow all the action from our latest clash with the London side right her on mancity.com and the official Man City app.

Live text updates, stats and analysis get under way in our Matchday Centre from two hours prior to kick-off, continuing throughout the evening to also include the post-match thoughts of players and the boss alike.
