Arsenal are Premier League champions while City won the FA Cup and, as such, both face off in the annual curtain-raiser for the new 2026/27 campaign.
Usually held at Wembley, this season’s match will take place at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium with a 15:00 (UK) kick-off on Sunday 16 August.
It’s the first time the venue has hosted the event since 2006 – 20 years ago.
The game will be shown live in the UK on TNT Sports 1, TNT Sports Ultimate, Prime Video, HBO Max and Now TV.
