Manchester City Women will stream their first UEFA Women’s Champions League game live on Facebook, thanks to the support of Official Club Partner, Nissan.

The Academy Stadium is the venue for this landmark clash and the Blues will be hoping home advantage can help them strike a first leg blow before they travel to Russia next Wednesday.

A competition debut for Steph Houghton and team, Zvezda have European pedigree, reaching the final in 2009 and winning all of their previous Round of 32 ties.

A record crowd watched City clinch the FA WSL title and they’ll be counting on the brilliant support of the home fans on Thursday, but don’t worry if you can’t make it to the Academy Stadium.

Giving Blues from around the world the opportunity to follow all the drama of a European night, fans can tune in from 6.45pm as Alistair Mann and CityTV’s Kelly O’Donnell cover all the pre-match news and views, before the game gets underway at 7pm.
