Metz 2-0 Lens. Ambrose started against Ligue 2 leaders Metz in a game between the French second tier’s top two clubs.

Metz ran out winners to make it six wins from six, while Lens lost their first points of the campaign. Ambrose was substituted on 61 minutes

Toulouse – Manu Garcia

Guingamp 1-2 Toulouse Garcia impressed again as Toulouse climbed to third in Ligue 1, just two points behind PSG.

Garcia assisted Max Gradel’s second-minute goal and the visitors doubled their lead on 12 minutes, hanging on to claim three points in a 2-1 win.

NAC Breda – Paolo Fernandes

Feyenoord 4-2 NAC Breda. With Aro Muric called back to City, NAC Breda shipped four goals – two scored by Robin van Persie – in a 4-2 loss at Feyenoord.

Fernandes played 69 minutes before being subbed as NAC slip to second bottom of the Eredivisie.

FC Twente – Matt Smith

FC Twente 3-1 Roda JC Welsh international Matt Smith played for 82 minutes of Twente’s 3-1 win over Roda, elevating the Dutch side to third in the second tier

Girona 1-4 Real Madrid.  Garcia came on as a 71st minute sub as Girona saw their early lead erased by the Galacticos.
