This week's look at Manchester City's loan stars involves a title-winner north of the border!

There was title glory in Scotland for Patrick Roberts, who enjoyed the perfect afternoon as Celtic hammered Hearts 5-0 to lift their sixth successive Premiership crown.

Roberts scored and assisted two in two minutes on his 50th appearance for the Hoops.

The winger was the architect for two of former Blue Scott Sinclair’s three goals – first playing a neat one-two and then playing him through with an excellent through ball.

Roberts’ strike was a beautifully-executed curling effort into the top corner.

Also north of the border, Billy O’Brien helped St Mirren to a 6-2 victory over Ayr.

In Holland, Enes Unal was on the scoresheet once again but Twente were defeated 2-1 by Sinan Bytyqi’s Go Ahead Eagles.

The Turkish star was in the right place to convert from close range, breaking the deadlock on half-time.

Unal completed the full 90 minutes, while Bersant Celina lasted 81 minutes and Yaw Yeboah was brought off on 74. Bytyqi remains sidelined for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Manu Garcia and James Horsfield claimed an assist each as they played the full 90 of NAC Breda’s 4-0 triumph at Venlo.

Horsfield played a well-worked give-and-go before squaring for Giovanni Konte to convert and Garcia slipped through to Cyriel Dessers to finish.

Thomas Agyepong was introduced on 75 minutes, while Ashley Smith-Brown and Brandon Barker missed out

In the Premier League, Jason Denayer completed 90 minutes but couldn’t prevent Sunderland from falling to defeat at the hands of Watford.

A division below, Aaron Mooy’s Huddersfield fell to a shock defeat at home to struggling Burton, conceding in the fifth minute of injury time. Mooy played the full game.

It was also a bad day for Kean Bryan in League One. He featured for 67 minutes of Bury’s 5-1 trouncing at Oxford.

In Italy, it was a disappointing day for Olivier Ntcham’s Genoa, who suffered a 5-0 home thrashing to Atalanta. The Frenchman was replaced on 55 minutes.

Joe Hart took his place between the sticks for Torino, who drew 2-2 with Udinese, and Bruno Zuculini helped Hellas Verona to a 2-0 triumph at Trapani.

In Spain, Marlos Moreno was brought on with 20 minutes left of Deportivo’s 3-0 defeat to Eliaquim Mangala’s Valencia. The French defender missed out however through suspension. Elsewhere, Samir Nasri was in full action for Sevilla in their 0-0 draw with Gijon.

Pablo Maffeo and Angelino lasted the full 90 for Girona and Mallorca respectively but both were on the losing side.
