City EDS defender Shay Facey has been called up by England Under-19s for the upcoming clash with Turkey next month.

The versatile 20-year-old, who can play anywhere across the back four, has been capped four times by the Under-19s already this season and has also won seven caps at Under-17 level plus three for the Under-16s in previous years.

Facey has made 22 appearances for Patrick Vieira’s EDS side so far this campaign and is part of an 18-man squad named by coach Noel Blake to face the Turks at Chester’s Swansway Stadium on Wednesday, 5 March (kick-off 7pm).
