A new date and kick-off time has been confirmed for City’s EFL Trophy trip to Mansfield Town.

Oliver Reiss and our Elite Development Squad will now take on the Stags on Wednesday 19 August, with kick-off set for 19:00 (UK), 24 hours later than the original date and time.

It will be our first group game fixture of the Vertu Trophy and also our first competitive outing in 2026/27.

Just six days later, Reiss and our young Blues will then begin our Premier League 2 campaign.

We will welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Joie Stadium on Monday 24 August, with kick-off set for 19:00 (UK).

Our two other group stage games in the Vertu Trophy will see us travel to Chesterfield on Tuesday 15 September, with kick-off scheduled for 19:00 (UK).

And we will take on Port Vale a month later, with kick-off in the diary for 19:00 (UK) on Tuesday 27 October.
