Oliver Reiss’ side take on the Rams, with kick-off at the Derby County Football Academy scheduled for 12:00 (UK), with our CITY+ stream to start on mancity.com and the Official Man City App just before the game begins.
After our stunning comeback against Newcastle United last week, winning 3-5 despite trailing 3-0 within 22 minutes, we remained at the pinnacle of the table. Teddie Lamb scored his fifth goal in two games, adding to his impressive tally of fourteen for the season.
Our U18’s are preparing for their first successive away game since September, when we won back-to-back games against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United. Our away form has been tremendous this season, having won all seven games on the road, bagging twenty-six goals and only conceding nine in the process.
The Derby side we encounter have struggled in recent weeks, losing all their last three games. Unfortunately for the team with the worst defensive record in the division, they will have to deal with the best attack who average an astonishing four goals per game.
So, will City be able to take down the Rams of Derby County and edge one step closer to the title?
