City in the Community is extremely excited to be hosting another Etihad Abseil this summer.

Taking place on Saturday, 15 July, fans will have the opportunity to abseil down the turrets positioned next to East Reception in front of our iconic City statues of club legends Vincent Kompany, David Silva and Sergio Aguero!

You will receive:
• An event t-shirt.
• A medal upon completing the abseil.
• Fundraising support and advice to reach your fundraising goal.
• The opportunity to purchase a photograph of the abseil on completion.

All profits raised will go towards a new fundraising initiative, Healthy Goals.

Profits raised will uplift the physical and mental health of young people by creating new community football spaces in Manchester, where the charity’s youth-led programmes can also be delivered.

Manchester City is bolstering the Healthy Goals initiative by matching all donations made before the fundraising window closes in September 2023, pound-for-pound*.

Refreshments will be available on the day, and we invite your friends and family to come down and cheer you on too.

There will be fun activities and entertainment on the day and some special guests in attendance, including club mascots Moonbeam and Moonchester.

The minimum age requirement is 8 years old and maximum weight to take part is 114kg (17.9 stone), meaning this is an event for all of the family.

You will be required to pay £25 registration fee and raise a minimum of £125 in sponsorship money.

Once you have registered, you will be allocated a specific time to arrive and to take on the abseil (between 10am-6pm) and you will receive a tailored email detailing all event information and instructions for the day.

Be quick! We have limited places available, and registration will be closed once capacity has been reached.
