Just two years after selling out Manchester's Co-op Live, Sam Fender will return to the Etihad Campus next summer for two huge shows as part of his UK stadium tour.

Sam Fender’s Proper Massive Stadium Tour ’27 will end at the Etihad Stadium with shows on Thursday 15 and Saturday 17 July. He will be supported by critically acclaimed British alt-rock band, Wunderhorse.

Before then, the tour kicks off with two nights at Newcastle’s St James’ Park, followed by a show at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, two nights at Wembley Stadium, and a show at Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium.

The tour also stops at Dublin’s Marlay Park on 1 July, before Sam’s first European festival headline slot at next Summer’s Rock Werchter in Belgium on Saturday 3 July.

Sam Fender released his number one selling, critically acclaimed third album People Watching in 2025 via Polydor Records. The album won the 2025 Mercury Prize, with Sam also picking up a BRIT Award in 2025, and two BRIT Awards in 2026 since its release.

In June 2025, he debuted People Watching’s ‘Rein Me In’ alongside Olivia Dean at his London Stadium Show to over 80,000 fans, before it was released as a duet later that month. In 2026, the song took on a life of its own, culminating in a record-breaking 23 non-consecutive weeks at number one, becoming the longest-running number one single in British history.

Sam’s relationship with Manchester has grown alongside his meteoric rise. After performing at venues across the city, he sold out two nights at Co-op Live in December 2024 and later returned to the arena in 2026 to collect his two BRIT Awards.  Next summer, he will return to the Etihad Campus once again, this time performing to more than 100,000 fans across two nights.

His return further strengthens the Etihad Campus’ position as one of the UK’s leading destinations for live entertainment. The shows will form part of a huge summer of music in East Manchester, with the Etihad Stadium also set to host Oasis’ record-breaking 11-night residency.
