Each year, Future Stars puts the spotlight on the next generation and highlights the brightest breakthrough talents.

Notable past Future Stars have gone on to become established global stars, including City’s own Julián Álvarez, Rúben Dias and Phil Foden.

Jeremy Doku : FUTURE STARS TEAM 1

A fast-paced winger with the flare to match, Jermery Doku has quickly become a fan favourite at the Etihad.

In his first year in City blue, after joining the Club as City’s third summer signing of the 2023/24 season on a five-year deal, he has hit the ground running, literally!

Comfortable operating on either flank, Doku has emerged as one of the most exciting and highly rated young wingers performing in the European game.

Jeremy has impressed both his fans, teammates, and opponents alike with his quick feet, dazzling attacking runs and clinical finishing.

Jeremy started his journey in Antwerp where he started off at various clubs before joining Anderlecht at the age of 10 where he would rise through the ranks to make his professional debut for the club in November 2018, aged 16.

After 37 appearances in the Belgian top-flight, Doku moved to Ligue One side Stade Rennais on 5 October 2020.

His time in France was defined by his significant contribution to the Stade Rennais fourth-placed finish last season.

He left Rennais having scored 12 goals and assisted 10 in his 92 appearances.

In his first year at City, the 21-year-old has continued to develop and has achieved nine goal contributions in his first 20 games in a City shirt.

His effort and skill hasn’t gone unnoticed, which has contributed towards EA SPORTS recognising him as a Future Star.

In addition to his Future Stars inclusion, EA SPORTS has also celebrated Doku’s efforts this season with not one, but two TOTW inclusions and most notably in this year’s Winter Wildcards campaign.

With an already impressive 91 pace, 92 agility and 82 dribbling on his FC 24 base item, Jeremy’s Future Stars item has been boosted to an overall rating of 89, with his pace elevated to a staggering 97, and his dribbling to a 93!
