Manchester City’s Christmas Campaign, ‘The Greatest Season Of All’ ended on December 31, 2023 and raised a record-breaking total, which will empower healthier futures for young people in Manchester.

‘The Greatest Season of All’ included gift giving, community events as well as fundraising, and the grand total raised for the campaign came to just over £230,000.

Players, club staff, partners and supporters were all involved in a large range of activities that helped the local community through fundraising and volunteering.

The Club also trebled additional donations made by fans and staff to increase the total overall funds for City in the Community football programmes, up to the value of £75,000. The funds made from the trebled donations make up part of the grand total.

The final figure of funds raised is the highest that the club have ever achieved through a Christmas campaign.

Commenting on the money raised and the success of the campaign, Head of Partnerships and Fundraising at City in the Community, Sam Dainty, said: “To see the whole club come together like it did throughout the Christmas period was nothing short of amazing.

“Without the generosity of so many people involved from the very start of the Christmas campaign, we would not be anywhere near reaching the amazing total that we have achieved.

“From players to supporters, and from staff to partners, no activity or task was too much to ask for anyone. I think that is a testament to the character of so many people who are involved with Manchester City and City in the Community.

“I’d like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who played a part in the campaign. The funds raised will be vital for the year ahead, as we look to achieve even more amazing things for the city of Manchester.”

Manchester City Football Club and City in the Community express their thanks and appreciation to everybody involved in the campaign.
