Steeped in City history, this quintet regale us with emotion-stirring stories to lift the lid on a life lived in professional football, whilst also providing a unique insight into some of the Club’s most significant moments.

We kick-off by reuniting Morrison and Royle to discuss the wonderful two-year period at the turn of the Millennium, when they returned City to the promise land of the Premier League with back to back promotions.

In his first interview since his time as chairman, the legendary Lee recounts the impact of presiding over a turbulent period that saw the Club fall into the third tier, whilst Tueart provides a frank account of a career that saw him represent City on the pitch and in the boardroom.

Paul Lake is joined by wife Joanne for a gripping tale of the injury problems that left his promising career totally unfulfilled, including the treatment he received from the Club and the process of writing a bestselling book neither expected to be so successful.

Completing the opening suite of interviews is Marwood, who opens up on a varied career which saw him win the most dramatic of league titles with Arsenal, before a spell working for Nike and as a commentator for Sky Sports.

He also discusses the pivotal role he played in City’s modern-transformation and his current remit in driving the City Football Group forward.

This is just a flavour of what to expect from The Man City Podcast, with more to be released in the coming weeks and months.
