Man City Esports is thrilled to announce the signing of EA FC Pro Player Donovan Hunt for the FC24 season.

The 22-year-old has joined City Esports for the 2023/24 campaign, joining fellow new signing Matias Bonanno and will be led by new coach Edu Castellano.

Better known as Tekkz, Hunt spent the past four years representing esports conglomerate Fnatic.

Prior to joining the EU franchise, Tekkz started his career in 2018 with The F2, bursting onto the pro scene with his first tournament win, the 2018 FUT Champions Cup.

Tekkz’s time with The F2 included a brief spell at KiNG Esports where he represented them at the 2019 FIFA eClub World Cup. After impressive performances throughout the tournament, Tekkz lifted the prestigious trophy.

Hunt continued to go from strength to strength and in his debut season in the ePremier League, he won the competition in 2019.

Included within his 11 tournament wins, Tekkz achieved one of his biggest career accolades – becoming champion of the 2020 eChampions League Invitational.

On the international stage Hunt has been just as successful since he began representing England in 2021. Representing the Three Lions, he placed first in the FIFAe Nations Cup 2021 EU Qualifiers.

Now, Hunt and Man City Esports will be looking to create history as they aim to become the first Pro Player and first organisation to win two ePremier League titles.

“I’m very excited to be joining the Man City Esports team and I’m looking forward to seeing what Mati and I can achieve this season in the ePremier League and hopefully further,” said Tekkz.

“I think our play styles complement each other well so I’m confident we can challenge for a handful of titles together.

“I definitely want to win another ePremier League title and to do it with City would be a huge honour.”

Everyone at Manchester City is delighted to welcome Tekkz to the Club and we wish him the very best of luck competing during his time in Manchester.
