Man City Esports is delighted to announce the signing of EA FC Pro Player Matias Bonanno ahead of the FC24 season.

The 20-year-old has joined the Club for the 2023/24 campaign, having most recently represented Team Heretics and Real Betis in the eLaLiga Santander.

Now, the PlayStation specialist will compete in the ePremier League for the first time in his career in the newly named EA FC franchise.

Joining Matias in his move to City is accomplished Spanich FC Pro coach Edu Castellano who will bring his expertise to City and the ePremier League.

Matias burst onto the pro scene with Argentinos Juniors in November 2019 before moving to KRU Esports almost a year later.

With KRU Esports - founded by City legend Sergio Aguero - the Argentine won the 2021 eLibertadores, fighting off some of the best Brazilian Pro Players in the process as he went unbeaten in the competition.

Following his triumphs in South America, Matias moved to Europe, signing for Team Heretics and representing Real Zaragoza for the 2021/22 eLaLiga season, which is where he also met Edu.
