Joshua ‘Cold’ Butler has made Man City Esports history by becoming the Club’s first pro player to be crowned FNCS champion.

The 16-year-old advanced to the FNCS Finals with his duo Acorn where they faced 24 other duos in Major 1 of the year.

Their 12 games were spread over Saturday 24 February and Sunday 25 February with scoring based on placement and eliminations, with points multiplied by 1.5x on the second day.

Cold and Acorn performed well throughout the first day as they looked to establish themselves high up the leaderboard before moving onto Sunday’s games.

And the duo were in impressive form, registering 21 eliminations and one victory royale.
