Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw has hailed City’s ruthlessness in front of goal during our superb 7-0 win over Spurs in the Barclays Women’s Super League.

The Jamaican netted an impressive first-half hat-trick in the success over the north London side before we added four more after the interval.

By claiming the match ball, the clinical striker has now scored nine goals in five matches against Robert Vilahamn’s side.

But Shaw paid tribute to her teammates after the full-time whistle as we returned to third in the league table with three magnificent points.

“It was a good night for us, we wanted to get the three points,” she declared.

“We saw the results earlier in the day but we wanted to get the three points first and foremost and score as many as we can. We were very clinical tonight.

“I would say the second one [was my favourite].

“I think because Shaun [Goater] has been on me about making second movements in the box and I think that’s something I try to do.

“I still have a lot to improve on, but I would say the second one.”
