Gareth Taylor was left frustrated by an off-day for City despite our best efforts, as we lost 1-0 to Brighton at the Joie Stadium.

The blues had numerous chances to score throughout the game, but the only goal would come from former City player Lin Guem-Min tapped home the winner in the 81st minute.

The result means City now drop to fifth place in the table and the boss admitted the performance fell below our usual standards.

The City boss said: “I just feel disappointed today that we just weren’t able to give the fans something to cheer and get behind.

“We showed a little bit of endeavour towards the end but that’s when we started to clutch at our chances.

“I think we just need to be a little more calm and composed in those final bits.”
