We travel to The Valley on Saturday 26 September with kick off set for 13:30 (UK) as we hope to continue our 100% Barclays Women’s Super League record this season.
It’s only our second away game of the campaign following home victories over Birmingham and Liverpool and a 4-1 win on the road at Aston Villa.
Newcomers Charlton, on the other hand, are still yet to pick up any points after defeats to Liverpool, Everton and London City Lionesses.
But we’re not the only Manchester City side to remain unbeaten as our Men’s and Under-18s sides have also recorded a perfect term to date.
And the City boss highlighted the start to the respective campaigns across the teams at the City Football Academy.
“We have got a great start this season,” the manager said.
“For the club to be successful both on the men’s and women’s and there’s a good flow in the club at the moment.
“I can only speak about how we feel and we feel really good at the moment.”
The Blues returned to the Champions League earlier this week as we kickstarted our latest campaign which saw us fight back to secure a 2-2 draw in Germany.
Now with our attention turning back to the WSL, Jeglertz explained that despite our perfect start we are still looking at ways to refine our game as we hope to chase another league title.
“We’re competing in the Champions League, playing against Bayern Munich, which is a great team and getting a draw there is not a bad result.
“The start of the league has been good, we have won all our games, creating chances.
“There are still things to improve, but we are on our way definitely.”
