Bite-sized action from our thrilling FA Cup clash with Spurs...

Being paired away to an excellent Spurs side was never going to be easy.

Ange Postecoglu’s men had already held City to a 3-3 draw at the Etihad last month and have been in and around the top four all season.

Meanwhile, FA Cup holders City were looking to do something we’d never managed before at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - score a goal and avoid defeat!

Our five previous trips to Spurs’ impressive new home had all ended with a loss and no goals scored.

Surely that had to end sooner rather than later?

Backed by 9,000 travelling Blues’ fans, this was to be an absorbing contest, largely dominated by a superb City display.

VAR scrubbed an early Oscar Bobb goal out and  when our total shot count without scoring at this venue passed the 100-mark, and the clock ticked towards 90 minutes, it looked like we were about to draw another blank but at least take Spurs back to the Etihad for a replay.

But a cleverly worked corner by Kevin De Bruyne saw Ruben Dias get in front of Spurs keeper Vicario and his attempted punch fell to Nathan Ake who poked home from a yard out to spark wild celebrations in the away end - and book a place in the FA Cup fifth round.
