Our all-time record goal-scorer, speaking in the new ‘93:20: The Ultimate Premier League Finale’ documentary that will be launched this Friday, says he hadn’t done enough for the team on the day.

In fact, he reckons he had contributed little or nothing as the clock ticked towards full-time...

“I knew I had to do something as I’d played so bad...so bad,” said Aguero.

“I said to Mario - you stay there and I’ll find you and then you play it back to me.

“For me that goal is lucky - it was as if someone was saying ‘Sergio, you have to score.’
