Pep Guardiola says City will rely on every member of our squad to navigate the rigours of the end of season schedule.

As the campaign heats up, we are still relentlessly competing on three fronts as we battle for a fourth straight Premier League title, as well as finding ourselves in the Champions League quarter-final and FA Cup semi-final.

This means there are still at least 12 matches remaining in 2023/24 in all competitions.

With this in mind, the boss has challenged our players to be ready for the action-packed next two months after welcoming Jack Grealish back from injury in our 0-0 draw with Arsenal last time out.

“I had the feeling that he [Grealish] is back. In mood, in training, in many things, desire,” Guardiola explained.

“Now I’m pleased. The only thing I ask of the players is be ready, be yourself and after it doesn’t matter if you perform the highest level or less.

“Jack is commitment and we need everyone. The injuries that we have and the tight schedule of many games we need everyone.

“So the contribution of, for example, Jeremy, Jack, Rico when they come in was really, really important in the game against Arsenal.

“They make a lot of things. Jeremy a lot of things. And Jack also was aggressive. And Rico, except the first one or two minutes because it’s not easy to come in immediately, he took the game in his hands and played really, really good.

“Aston Villa and after Crystal Palace, Madrid, Luton, Madrid and all the games ahead of it, its what’s going to happen.”
