In preparation for the festive period, Manchester City’s men’s and women’s squads gathered to pack special gifts this Christmas.

With more than 1,800 presents to pack into hundreds of gift bags, it is safe to say the players were busy!

Gifts included items of all shapes and sizes this Christmas, with mini footballs, bottles, teddy bears, mugs, wristbands, and of course – Santa hats.

Supported by Moonchester and Moonbeam, the players joined the packing in preparation for two visits this Christmas.

The men’s squad visited the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, bringing their gifts for the children and their families.

Patients were greeted by the surprise of the players with their gift bags, having watched the video of the players packing their gifts only moments before.

Meanwhile, members of our women’s team visited Francis House Children’s Hospice earlier this week, continuing their tradition of bringing festive cheer to the young patients at this time of year.

This gift of City forms part of the Club’s wider Christmas campaign – ‘The Greatest Season of All’.
