August marked the return of competitive football for the 2026/27 season for our men’s, EDS and U18s sides.
It was a positive month on the whole, starting with Enzo Maresca winning his first two Premier League games as City boss.
There were also wins for our EDS against Mansfield Town in the EFL Trophy and Wolves in the Premier League 2 while our U18s beat Liverpool, Manchester United and Leeds.
Two of Dexter Oliver’s four strikes in his incredible showing against Leeds make our shortlist, while U18s striker Teddie Lamb also features for a decisive finish against Manchester United.
EDS star Tyrone Samba is also there for a strike against Wolves.
Joško Gvardiol’s late, late winner at home against Bournemouth is the first from our men’s team, before Rayan Cherki and Erling Haaland get nominated for their brilliance at Crystal Palace.
