City's 15 goals from outside the box in the Premier League in 2023/24 was more than anyone else in the division.

While we’re highly regarded for our spectacular passing play that creates a wide array of chances, we’re also capable of scoring screamers.

As the league’s leading scorers with 96 in total on our way to a record fourth successive title, City have many threats for opposition defenders to worry about.

With defences often sitting deep, especially at the Etihad, sometimes a strike from distance is what’s required to find the route to goal.

Our 15 goal from outside the area was three more than anyone else managed, with Liverpool scoring 12 and Aston Villa and Burnley next on 10 each.

Phil Foden - the Premier League Player of the Season and FWA Footballer of the Year - mastered that art with some special efforts into the top corner against the likes of Manchester United, Aston Villa and West Ham United on the final day.

Rodrigo also has an incredible knack of stepping on to the ball and sliding the ball home from 20 yards, as he proved against Burnley and Sheffield United last season.

The Spaniard can also power the ball home, with his brutal strike at Chelsea earning us a point from a Premier League classic.

As the Golden Boot winner, Erling Haaland netted 27 times. Two of those came with glorious finishes from range against both Brighton and Sheffield United.

Away from those players, Bernardo Silva, Kevin De Bruyne and Julian Alvarez also had magnificent entries of their own.
