So, which of Erling's 36 Premier League goals was his favourite - and why?

Our Norwegian goal machine has plenty to choose from, that’s for sure!

He was asked to judge his favourite from the eight goals City fans had shortlisted and explain his thoughts on each, before selecting the winner.

Presenter Michael Timbs takes our No.9 through his most memorable strikes in a revealing and entertaining feature.

The format is simple - each goal is pitted against another, with the winner progressing to the next phase.

Kicking off Erling looks at his second goal versus West Ham United on the opening day of the 2022/23 campaign,  against his hat-trick strike against Crystal Palace.

Which will win?

Then it’s the superb half-volley against United at the Etihad after Kevin De Bruyne‘s sumptuous assist versus a long-range effort against Wolves.

One was special because the opponents and the other was the only strike from outside of the box with his ‘wrong’ foot (right).

Who will get the nod?

Then we have a south coast tussle between Brighton and Southampton.

Haaland’s powerful finish against Brighton from an Ederson long ball that ended with a shoulder-charge that cleared out Lewis Dunk and a simple finish.

Or will he go for the acrobatic volley against Southampton at St Mary’s?

Next up, a goal against Arsenal and a record-breaking effort against West Ham.

His close-range finish versus the Gunners completed a 4-1 win at the Etihad and his delightful chip against the Hammers set a new Premier League goal-scoring record - but which meant more to him?
