Ipswich Town are the visitors to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday at 15:00 (UK) as we aim to extend our 100% record in the Premier League that has seen us move three points clear at the top of the table.
The City boss is expecting a tough game against the newly-promoted opponents who beat Fulham in their previous game at the weekend.
Maresca also praised the City fans for their support in the loss to the French champions and says he need them again when the Tractor Boys visit.
“It’s a chance for us [to bounce back],” he told City TV. “Its’ going to be a tough game because they have all week to recover their energy and prepare the game.
“We need to manage some players but again we need to continue our run and try to win on Saturday.”
On the fans, he said: “They supported the team for 95 minutes.
“Even in the first half probably they could see the team was there with the spirit. And we need them again on Saturday.”
