Jeremy Doku has expressed his pride after becoming the youngest player in Premier League history to have five goal involvements in one game, scoring once and assisting four in the 6-1 win over the Cherries.

Doku opened the scoring after 30 minutes, before assisting Bernardo Silva and Manuel Akanji to have us 3-0 ahead at half-time.

The winger then set up Phil Foden and Bernardo for the second time, before Nathan Ake headed in a late sixth.

The Belgian also now holds the title for the youngest player to register four assists in a single Premier League match.

“I’m very proud,” he said. “In this team it is so easy, there’s a lot of movement.

“Everyone is top. When you play with top players, it’s easy to find the right pass and find the right time to do something.

“Honestly, today, I knew when I had to go and I found the right balance today, that was the most important thing.

“I Improve every day, in the training sessions, everything. I can see it already. 

“All my assists were different, it’s a good thing, as long as it’s an assist, I’m happy.”

The 21-year-old also gave a deeper insight into his fabulous assist for our second goal of the afternoon at the Etihad Stadium and stressed the importance of taking each game as it comes.
