The 18-year-old put pen to paper on a new contract after impressive spells with the Under-18s and Elite Development Squad since his move from West Ham to Manchester in 2023.
He also caught the eye of City fans in his six senior appearances under former Manager Pep Guardiola, who gave Mukasa his debut in Blue in our 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Huddersfield.
His progression and trajectory towards first-team minutes has taken even Mukasa by surprise, but it has been a challenge and opportunity he has faced head on.

“I think it’s just since coming here the amount of development I’ve made,” began Mukasa.
“Obviously working with the best coaches, the best players, you improve so much so it’s an environment that I look to stay in.
“And I’ve really enjoyed it so it’s a good platform for me.
“It’s a great feeling and something I’ve been working towards [signing a new contract],” he added.
“You focus on the football and stuff like that but things like this are also good and what come with it. So, it’s really good.”
